FulFit
Helping people reach their fitness goals through Research, Mobile Experience and Interface Design.
PASSION PROJECT
Role: Researcher, UX & UI Designer
Timeline: 4 Weeks
PROBLEM STATEMENT
People want to improve their health by incorporating fitness into their daily routine, but they would rather not exercise at all over planning a fitness session with limited knowledge and guidance.
BACKGROUND
HYPOTHESIS
A tool that guides users through workouts and allows people to track their fitness as they progress over time, making health more attainable for beginners and busy people.
WHY?
Now, more than ever, adults are spending more time at home, and the increased need for at home fitness solutions is at an all time high in the U.S. With these drastic changes to regular routines, people are bringing gym equipment into their homes with the goal of being healthier. However, people are struggling to create fitness routines on their own and are not able to meet their goals.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
This app is perfect for Users who want to find and complete work outs and track their fitness progress. People like video guided workouts as they are the easiest to understand and follow. Businesses would be able to provide a paid service that unlocks more workouts and features for an enhanced experience for our users.
WHAT MAKES FULFIT UNIQUE?
• The User Research was only conducted with U.S. markets in mind:
Other countries have vastly different habits, behaviors and laws concerning fitness as a whole.
• This is a passion Project:
As I am the only person working on this project, I did not work with any engineers, PM’s, or any other teams to collaborate all possible solutions.
• 4 Weeks to get it done:
I focused on the research aspect of this project to make sure I truly understood the user's needs before starting any possible solutions.

CONCEPT
LOW FIDELITY WIREFRAMES OFFER A FIRST LOOK TO CALL OUT DEVELOPMENTAL CHALLENGES.
Keeping the workout experience simple was important to having a positive experience with the product. An easy to understand navigation helps users workout faster and more often helping them achieve their goals.
DESIGN
-KEY MOMENTS
Keeping thoughtful design top of mind empowers Users by utilizing our product as a tool to help them reach their goals. Designing in "moments" helped keep the design process flexible and allowed for a smooth development.
Below are some of the moments I felt were the important based on my research. More use cases could be revealed with further research.
WHAT ARE MY CURRENT GOALS?
Someone is using the app at home, viewing their weekly progress, asking questions like, "How am I doing this week?" and "Should I work out today?"
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Someone is using the app at home planning ready to work out, choosing a workout, asking questions like, "What type of exercise should I do?" and "Can I do that workout from last week again?"
HOW DID I DO?
Someone is using the app at home viewing their workout results asking questions like, "How did I do?" and "Have I improved since the last time I did this?"

1
2
3
"Live" Classes
How might we inform consumers of the benefits of collaborated workouts? How might this information encourage consumers to buy premium services with confidence of it's value?
Food Log
How might we help users track not only their fitness but their diet as well? How might this encourage consumers to think of their diet as a part of their overall health?
Geolocation
How might we use geolocation to add the experience of working out on the go? How might this ability encourage consumers to be more spontaneous with their workouts?
